About
Dez- He was concieved from a Gestation Matrix in 1971. After seeing
Star wars in'77 he was inspired to draw his many adventures and fantasies
on paper. Never his mind on where he was or what he was doing he was
always looking to the future and the horizon. He took up art as a pastime
until getting attention from the King of Pop, Michael Jackson himself.
He then put two and two together and found out that you can make money
in this game.
Dez
lives in North London, and being an avid Spurs supporter he hates Arsenal
with a passion. His motto is "Chance favours the prepared mind"
with a little bit of "Do or do not. There is no try" thrown
in for good measure..

As
you will probably see one of my inspirations is Brasil. Five times World
Champions, i was inspired back in '82 when the great Zico,, Eder, Socrates,
Falcao and such lit up the tournament with a display of attacking football
that has not been beaten since. I also noticed the fact that the girls
in the stands were so beautiful and constantly dancing to the batacuda
beats from the terraces. Although they lost to Italy in one of the greatest
games of all time the experience had a lasting effect on me and i have
devoted a lot of images to show my love for Brasil. Obrigado, Brasil.
I
am Inspired by "Real People" and capturing a moment that we
can relate to. My girls are Sassy, Cool, Fun, Funky and Desireable. Always
leaving something to the imagination. They show the power of the female
form."They look sexy, but dont know they are sexy" is the way
i like to describe them. I love the Casual look on them and try to steer
away from the whole , skinny, fashion show look. They are more regular
working girls than rich chicks which is why i tend to draw them working
in Bars, DJing or captured in a Club shot. My other inspirations come
from Toulouse Lautrec, Lichenstein and i am a great admirer of Comic artists
Bruce Timm and Jack 'King' Kirby. |
